Auditions for Shrek JR: April 20

Performing at the Ames City Auditorium – June 17-26, 2022: SHREK THE MUSICAL JR.
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and subsequent Broadway musical. It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is a fun show for the whole family.
AUDITION INFORMATION
- Auditions: Tuesday, April 19 from 4:00-8:00pm and Wednesday, April 20 from 5:30-8:30pm.
- Rehearsals: From April 23-June 4, rehearsals will be 4:00-6:15 Tue/Thu and 10:00-12:00 Sat. From June 6-16, rehearsals every weekday afternoon. View a preliminary rehearsal schedule here.
- Approximately 35 roles available for ages 9-18
- 10 crew members needed (ages 12-18)
