STC’s Antonov Castle Mystery Party–Teen

September 24, 2021 By Tina VanDyk

Deep in the forest and miles from civilization, a castle sits high atop a mountain—home to the Antonov Clan of vampires. While vicious, the Antonovs and all other vampires follow the “code” set out by the vampire royal family in Romania. In accordance with the code, the Antonov Clan has extended hospitality to many travelers in need of refuge from the sunlight. But when the leader of the clan, Frederik Antonov, is found staked in his coffin in the early daylight hours, traveling vampires and clan members alike become suspects in his murder. Who would stake an immortal? Why? That’s where you come in…

Winter Wonderland Virtual Mystery Party

November 23, 2020 By Tina VanDyk

You’re invited to the holiday party of the year! Betty Crosby, wife of famous football star Joseph Crosby, is hosting her annual Christmas Party fundraiser in her home. This year’s theme is Winter Wonderland, and celebrities and society’s elite are vying for an invitation.
Betty’s parties are marked with the “Big Reveal” of her Christmas tree every year. What usually happens: Select photographers capture her big moment as the doors to the “Christmas Room” swing open and reveal Betty, clad in a designer dress and tiara, placing the star atop the giant tree. But this year, when the doors swing open, the guests find Betty has been murdered!
Who killed her? Why? How? That’s where you come in…question the suspects and find the truth! We’re going to need every mind on the job, so get ready.

Open to ages 13+

December 11 at 7:00 pm (ending ~ 9:00 pm)
There will be an introductory meeting at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 10 for about half an hour.

You will be emailed several details ahead of time in the form of a pre-party packet. Be sure to keep these hush-hush!

Note: To avoid suspicion, we recommend dressing appropriately to the occasion. More details on this at the intro meeting, but in the meantime, we invite you to ponder what you might wear (out of your current closet) to a fancy holiday event.

Monologue Acting and Showcase

August 31, 2020 By Tina VanDyk

It’s time for some acting with STC instructor Olivia Griffith! You have a couple of options for this workshop:

    2. Take Monologue Writing (above) with a friend or two and trade monologues to spice up the writer/actor feel.
    3. If you aren’t taking Monologue Writing, either choose monologue(s) from any source or choose from options we provide.

No matter which route you pick, you’ll get personalized coaching in a relaxed group setting, and we’ll record a showcase to watch and share at the end!
