Designed to Introduce teenagers to the works of Shakespeare and the challenges of acting from a Classical text. Working with Shakespeare’s tragicomedy The Tempest we’ll analyze the play in-depth, with a focus on language, character archetypes, and conflict development. Together we’ll find modern connections and find out how to make this classic more accessible. All analysis will be applied to the rehearsal of selected scenes and monologues from the play. For ages 13-18.
